We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our 29-bed inpatient Medical & Surgical unit in Menomonee Falls, WI. The unit focuses on orthopedics and spine surgeries and offers a 1:4-5 day ratio and a 1:5-6 night ratio. New staff partners with a preceptor for onboarding and participates in shared governance.
We offer a $15,000 sign‑on bonus with a 2‑year commitment. This is a 0.9 FTE, full‑time staff RN position on Shift 3, on site at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.
Job Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adult inpatient patients. Responsibilities include delivering quality care, maintaining clinical competence, and adapting to the unit’s scope and standards of practice.
Experience Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the unit.
Education Completion of an accredited School of Nursing is required to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Non‑BSN nurses with less than one year of experience must enroll in a BSN (or higher) program, expected within 15 months of hire and completed within 5 years (or 6 for MSN/DNP/PhD).
Licensure Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multi‑state license under the NLC. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
