Responsibilities

Provide direct care services including individual, family, and group counseling, support, and other activities.

Complete comprehensive assessment, development of treatment and discharge plan of care.

Maintain all clinical documentation.

Participate in and facilitate all family and/or collateral meetings, interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences or other meetings as required to ensure continuity of care.

Complete all required utilization review tasks as assigned.

Provide transportation to client residence and/or transportation of clients may be required for outpatient and residential services/programs.

Qualifications

A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, psychology, social work, or other health‑related field is required for clinical and residential programs; for the Arrive Together program, certification and experience as a NJ Certified Mental Health Screener is preferred in lieu of a master’s degree.

NJ licensure required: LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCADC* (*must also have LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW or LMFT for any non‑substance use program). Certification and experience as a NJ Certified Mental Health Screener is preferred in lieu of licensure for the Arrive Together program.

1‑2 years’ mental health experience with the population to be served is preferred. For outreach programs, a combination of field experience, community engagement, and coordination of services with law enforcement is highly preferred.

Valid NJ Driver’s License for Outpatient and Residential Programs.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $29.11 to $36.39 an hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
