Job Description
Our client is seeking to add a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster who can work remotely, with a requirement to be in the office one day per week. The role involves handling moderate workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia, investigating claims via telephone, written correspondence, and personal contact with claimants, attorneys, insureds, witnesses, and other relevant parties. This position is fully remote. Responsibilities
Process assigned claims and determine benefits owed pursuant to the client contract. Work proactively towards claim resolution with defense counsel and clients while meeting audit requirements and resolving claims in a timely manner. Make timely claims payments and adjustments; communicate claim action/processing with claimant and client. Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct. Provide comprehensive, thorough analysis of coverage determination. Prepare detailed reports and respond to correspondence to achieve settlement. Requirements
3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims handling experience. Active Georgia adjuster’s license. Litigation experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Salary / Benefits
