Forensic Psychologist - Clinical Supervisor
Psychologists are encouraged to consider a position with Liberty Healthcare’s multi‑site forensic mental health program in California. This program serves justice‑involved adults who are experiencing mental illness and have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial. The goal is to provide rapid mental health services on site at several county jails in San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, and San Mateo Counties, so that clients can achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. As Liberty Healthcare’s Clinical Supervisor you will have a variety of responsibilities, including: Overseeing forensic evaluations for justice‑involved individuals experiencing mental illness Ensuring clinical services are consistent with best practices in the forensic mental health field Leading quality‑assurance, compliance, and training initiatives Providing direct and indirect supervision of licensed clinicians and ancillary professionals Collaborating with the program’s Executive Director, leaders, and staff Fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders at the California Department of State Hospitals and county sheriff’s departments Providing clinical services occasionally as needed This is primarily a remote role that can be performed from your home office in California. You may be required to make occasional trips to service locations, mainly in Southern California. Compensation and benefits: Starting pay between $130,000 and $145,000, depending on qualifications Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance 30 days of paid time off per year, covering holidays, vacation, sick leave and personal days Health Savings Account and 401(k) plan Full details on Liberty’s benefits plan are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/143.pdf.
