Education / Experience

Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.

Computer Skills

Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation.

Basic internet navigation skills.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Valid state license for occupational therapy (where applicable).

Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy (OT) and related services for patients while maintaining positive interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Maintain professional conduct that represents the company's commitment to quality and service. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.

Optimize patient functionality and skills by providing, directing, and/or overseeing occupational therapy.

Provide consultation and clinical supervision to COTAs and rehab techs.

Directly supervise COTAs and rehab techs during group and individual treatments to promote efficient resource use and skill development, in compliance with State Practice Acts, OBRA, and company policy.

Build a strong occupational therapy program.

Enhance clinical, professional, and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other staff, self‑study, and continuing education.

Maintain valid state license and awareness of occupational therapy and healthcare environment issues.

Understand and apply relevant payment models and billing guidelines to provide quality care and realistic goals.

Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols.

Possess adequate English proficiency for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
