We’re seeking an experienced
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
to join the Avir Health Group in Grand Saline, TX. The primary purpose of an LVN is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the assigned unit, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Responsibilities
Direct the day‑to‑day nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Ensure that the Nursing Services Policies and Procedures Manual is followed by all nursing personnel.
Maintain an adequate number of appropriately trained personnel on duty to meet the needs of the unit by developing work assignments and assisting staff.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter‑departmental personnel and other departments to ensure nursing services are adequately maintained.
Qualifications
Valid Texas Nurse License.
Valid CPR Certification.
I.V. Certification preferred.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines relating to long‑term care.
