Position Title: ServiceNow Developer (TS/SCI Cleared)
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support mission-critical systems in a secure DoD/federal environment. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and strong hands‑on experience developing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong scripting skills, and experience working in enterprise‑scale or government environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform components
Customize ServiceNow modules including (but not limited to): ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Workflow/Flow Designer
Develop and maintain scripts using JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers
Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
Collaborate with system owners, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Ensure solutions align with DoD and federal security, compliance, and governance standards
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while ensuring system performance and reliability
Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance (required)
4+ years of relevant ServiceNow development experience
Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow solutions in DoD, federal, or large enterprise environments
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and platform architecture
Experience supporting ServiceNow in a secure or regulated environment
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Additional ServiceNow certifications (CAD, CIS, etc.)
Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or custom application development
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems
Work Environment
Work performed in a secure, cleared environment
Onsite or hybrid work may be required based on program needs
$140,000 - $180,000 a year
