Origin Travel Nurses
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises LPNs, CNAs, and orientees while embracing the Core Values of the Company: delivering superior quality, treating others with respect, being results-oriented, and supporting teamwork.
Patient and employee safety are priorities. RN responsibilities include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring adherence to safety policies. This position participates in a patient rehabilitation program, initiates discharge planning, and communicates vital information for continuity of care. Effective documentation and participation in team activities are essential components of this role.
Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Identify teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and the Interdisciplinary team. Provide patient updates for Initial and Re-evaluation Team Conferences. Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record. Participate in patient rehabilitation and initiate discharge planning upon admission. Communicate changes in patient status to relevant care providers. Guide and supervise ancillary nursing personnel and delegate tasks appropriately. Contribute positively to unit operations through effective teamwork and communication. Maintain communication with management regarding service needs. Assume charge responsibility as needed. Pursue professional growth and development opportunities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required. Schedule
This position requires working the night shift on a 3x12.0 schedule. Assignment Duration
