Night shift, 3x12.0 hours. Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, ensuring patient and employee safety is a priority. The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on education and collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Identify teaching needs and goals related to patient diagnoses. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record accurately and timely. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure direct patient care. Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care. Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building activities. Maintain communication regarding service needs, supplies, and equipment. Assume charge responsibilities as requested after the orientation period. Engage in professional growth through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
