This position supports the development of new and existing coating products and provides technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, and Purchasing. The Chemist will work hands‑on in a laboratory environment while contributing to high‑quality products aligned with Diamond Vogel’s standards and values. Responsibilities
Prepare liquid coating samples and assist with product development activities Perform physical and analytical testing with appropriate supervision Accurately record test results, observations, and experimental data Communicate findings clearly to R&D team members and cross‑functional partners Support Sales, Manufacturing, and Purchasing with technical information Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance standards Maintain laboratory organization and proper handling of materials and equipment Learn and apply testing methods, laboratory software, and equipment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field required; chemistry coursework required Laboratory experience preferred but not required; training provided Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative Basic computer skills and the ability to learn laboratory and data systems To apply for this position, please complete and submit our online application near the top of this page.
