Our mission is to support children (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays by providing high-quality therapeutic services in home and community-based settings. We are currently seeking COTAs who are passionate about helping young children thrive.

Position Overview As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the Early Intervention program, you will provide services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays. You will work directly in the child’s natural environment to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior, while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct occupational therapy services for children ages 0–3

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals

Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members

Coach and educate caregivers to support therapy carryover at home

Maintain accurate records and comply with NYC Early Intervention documentation standards

Participate in IFSP meetings and case reviews as needed

Qualifications

Current NYS license and registration as COTA

Degree from an accredited COTA program

Experience in early childhood or pediatric therapy strongly preferred

Knowledge of Early Intervention standards and family-centered care principles

Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Reliable transportation to travel throughout the assigned borough

Physical Requirements

Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer)

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
