Building Engineer
to join our team supporting a portfolio of
Class A commercial office properties
across the Washington, DC area. This role involves ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and overall performance of building systems while delivering exceptional service to tenants and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, operate, and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs as needed.
Respond to tenant service requests and support daily building operations to maintain Class A standards.
Assist with vendor coordination, building projects, and capital improvements.
Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation related to equipment and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in building engineering, maintenance, or facilities management, preferably within commercial real estate.
Strong understanding of building systems and operational best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., EPA Universal, CFC, or trade-specific credentials) preferred.
