Key Responsibilities
Responsible for developing the conceptual process design, sizing and costing of Wet Anaerobic Digestion Plants during the proposal phase of EPC projects
Prepare heat & mass balances, PFD, as well as performance and functional guarantees in close collaboration with Chief Engineers
Coordinate interfaces with the various disciplines (electrical and control, layout, steel structure, civil, construction, procurement, logistics, etc.)
Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities, participate to technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and partners
Calculate the budget for the engineering and procurement scope of supply, support the preparation of requests for quotations for critical equipment and analyse offers received from suppliers
Compile the offer documentation, deviations, bill of quantities, electrical consumption list, etc.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process engineering (Bachelor/Master)
5+ years’ experience in comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies or in similar industry
Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process engineering and good understanding of technical cost drivers
Autonomous, proactive, curious, flexible and team-oriented personality
Fluent in English, other language(s) welcomed
