Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 5+ years of recent L&D experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Care for patients in all stages of labor and delivery
Uses Meditech EMR system
Shifts are 19:00-07:30 (night shift)
Work schedule is a 36/48 hour rotation in a two-week pay period
Staffing ratios may fluctuate based on unit census and staffing
Bi-weekly orientation is provided
Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on schedule
Scrub or dress code details may be provided during orientation
Travel pairs are not allowed except in rare unit circumstances
No local candidates will be considered due to strict 100-mile radius rule
Requirements
Active KY or compact RN license required
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required
NIH Certification required
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
