Responsibilities

Teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction

Design and develop curriculum

Evaluate student performance

Advise students

Function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology

Qualifications

At least a master’s degree in nursing education (if the MSN is in another area, complete a post‑master’s certificate in nursing education or the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) examination within three years of hire)

Current South Carolina RN license

Minimum of two years clinical experience related to medical‑surgical nursing, the primary area of teaching responsibilities

Teaching experience in an ADN or BSN program (highly preferred)

Clinical experience with and knowledge base of content related to the assigned teaching responsibilities

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
