Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team. This role provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care across pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑anesthesia recovery (PACU) settings and also serves as the facility’s Safety Officer, supporting compliance with AAAHC standards. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and committed to patient safety and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care including pre‑op assessments, circulating support during procedures, and PACU recovery
Verify patient histories, consents, and required documentation
Monitor patient condition, vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress
Educate patients and families on post‑operative care, medications, and discharge instructions
Accurately document all nursing care in the electronic health record
Safety Officer & Compliance Duties
Serve as the designated Safety Officer for the facility
Support compliance with AAAHC standards related to patient safety, infection prevention, emergency preparedness, and risk management
Conduct and document safety rounds, drills, and risk assessments
Review incident reports and support quality improvement initiatives
Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
Maintain audit‑ready safety logs and regulatory documentation
Assist with staff education on safety policies and emergency protocols
Qualifications

Support compliance with AAAHC standards related to patient safety, infection prevention, emergency preparedness, and risk management
Conduct and document safety rounds, drills, and risk assessments
Review incident reports and support quality improvement initiatives
Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
Maintain audit‑ready safety logs and regulatory documentation
Assist with staff education on safety policies and emergency protocols
Pay Range
$40 - $50/hr, based on experience
