We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice in Puyallup, WA. The ideal candidate is personable, passionate about dental health, and enjoys building strong relationships with patients.
Location Gentle Dental North Meridian 1002 N. Meridian Street Suite 104A Puyallup, WA 98371, USA
Compensation
$5,000 sign‑on bonus
Competitive hourly base pay up to $75 per hour
with uncapped bonus potential
Additional compensation including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and pre‑tax savings plans.
Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Conduct scaling, root planing, gingivitis scaling, and prophylaxis.
Assessment:
Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, medical history, and caries risk assessments.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on hygiene treatments based on assessments.
X‑Rays:
Take digital radiographs as needed.
Treatment Planning:
Assist in developing personalized AAP and ADA‑based treatment plans.
Collaboration:
Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals.
Patient Interaction:
Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records.
Infection Control:
Adhere strictly to protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
Requirements
Education:
Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
License:
Valid state dental hygiene license.
Other Licenses/Certification:
CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser Certification (where required).
