Northwell Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for Pediatrics on a per diem basis.
Base pay:
$51,830.00/yr – $79,300.00/yr
Job Description
Provide professional nursing care to patients in support of, and as directed by, the physician.
Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
Observe, conduct, and document a thorough assessment of the patient’s medical status during the entire course of treatment.
Perform assigned back‑office duties and rotate as a telephone triage nurse in an efficient and professional manner.
Perform all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
Perform related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related, are not essential functions.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school.
Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
