Job Title:
Fire Sprinkler Layout Technician
Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems. Perform layout using AutoCAD / HydraCAD, create hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre‑fabrication, and coordinate with the design team.
BIM modeling
Hydraulic calculations
Field surveying
Listing for fabrication
Coordination between trades
Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Associate or technical, business discipline preferred or equivalent experience (e.g., Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management).
NICET certification preferred.
High mechanical interest.
Experience in the fire protection design field is required.
AutoCAD and/or HydraCAD experience is required.
Ability to multi‑task to the extreme.
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record required.
Excellent communicator, self‑motivated individual with great organizational skills.
Computer Skills:
Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
