What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage pre-award duties, including proposal preparation, budgeting, and compliance
Serve as liaison between faculty and department administrators to ensure adherence to guidelines
Compile and submit grant applications following agency and university standardsProvide internal notices of award and assist with annual agency reports
Coordinate with post-award units to implement contracts and manage grant transfers
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in grant administration or research management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Familiarity with Research Management Systems (RMS) and SUBS System
Skills in accounting, analytical thinking, and grant applications
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Workday software
Knowledge of current research administration regulations and guidelines
