Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is a clinician-owned and operated home health agency serving the special needs community. We are seeking a part-time or full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist to implement treatment programs for pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community.
Key Qualifications:
Feeding experience required
Bilingual preferred
ASHA certification
State license
Current CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
Provide high quality care and meet patient and family needs through evaluations, interpreting assessment results, developing appropriate goals, and implementing speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with physicians.
Assist pediatric patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning and improve independence via skilled interventions.
Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines.
Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with physician orders.
Ensure continuation of the therapeutic plan after discharge by designing and instructing home exercise programs.
Document patient care services and care coordination using an electronic medical records system.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Compensation Pay range: $52,200 – $156,000 plus $1,500 sign‑on bonus. Guaranteed pay while you build your caseload.
