Duties Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator. Teaching duties will consist of instructor selection from a variety of discipline courses, committee work and other duties. Courses consist of lecture, lab and clinical components and are conducted during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Duties include various faculty responsibilities; it is preferred that the role will serve as program coordinator.
Education / Experience
A minimum of A.A.S or Associate’s degree in Nursing required. Preferred: BSN and Alzheimer’s Certification.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in nursing (a minimum of 2,000 hours)
IDPH Train the Trainer certification
A current unencumbered IL Registered Professional Nurse license; or eligible for reciprocity (must have reciprocity by the start of the semester).
Current CPR certification
Qualifications This position requires a strong commitment to teaching, student success while incorporating technology and innovation in the delivery of instruction. The ability to infuse new approaches into the teaching/learning process. Candidates must be able to work actively and collegially with faculty within and outside of the department. A willingness and flexibility to learn and expand to new content areas is a plus.

Hours Hours to be determined. Location includes main campus, SWEC, ECBI extension sites
Salary / Wage $58,623 - $71,670 (Base Load is 15 ECH)
