Basic Nursing (BNA) Instructor (full-time, tenure track faculty)
Inside Higher Ed invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Basic Nursing (BNA) Instructor.
Duties Support the college mission and provide quality instruction across lecture, lab, and clinical courses during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Responsibilities include instructor selection, committee participation, faculty duties, and, when possible, serving as program coordinator.
Education / Experience
Minimum A.A.S (Associate’s) degree in Nursing (BSN preferred; Alzheimer’s Certification also preferred)
At least two (2) years of nursing experience (minimum 2,000 hours)
IDPH Train the Trainer certification
Current, unencumbered Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license, or eligibility for reciprocity by semester start
Current CPR certification
Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to teaching and student success, ability to integrate technology and innovation, collegial collaboration across departments, and a willingness to learn new content areas.
Position Status Full Time
Hours Hours to be determined.
Location All campus sites; includes main campus, SWEC, and ECBI extension sites.
Salary / Wage $58,623 - $71,670 (Base Load: 15 ECH)
