Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 20577 Amberfield Dr, Land O Lakes, Florida 34638
Schedule: Part Time Mon - Fri. Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-5
Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate based on experience.
Select Physical Therapy is hiring a licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
for a part‑time outpatient opportunity up to 24 hours weekly. Minimum 1 year experience in outpatient orthopedics. Join our team treating general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non‑op, pre‑op, post‑op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputees, fall prevention, and ACL. Foster your growth!
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
Minimum 1 year experience working in outpatient orthopedics.
Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process).
CPR Certification.
