Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

1807 Short Branch Drive, Suite 103, Trinity, FL
Schedule:
Full Time Mon - Fri. Center hours 7am - 7pm Mon - Fri
Compensation:
Starting at $25+/hr. Starting rate calculated by experience.
Incentives:
$6000 bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment benefit program of $200/month.
Select Physical Therapy has an immediate need for a licensed
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
for a Full Time outpatient opportunity. Newly licensed PTA graduates and experienced PTA (preferably with outpatient experience), APPLY! Join our team of 2 PTs, 1 PTA, 1 OT Hand Therapists and two front office support staff at this outpatient center. We treat general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non-op, pre-op post-op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, hand therapy, dry needling and TMJ conditions. Mentorship available for new graduates. Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process).
CPR Certification.
