Shift: 7PM - 7AM | Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000.
Responsibilities
Maintain current CPR certification, constructively receive feedback, identify and communicate learning needs, and take action to improve knowledge and performance.
Report equipment malfunctions, establish effective communication strategies, contribute to unit activities including call light responses, telephone service, meal tray passing and resident transport.
Provide direct resident care directed by RN/LPN including bathing, feeding, dressing, transportation, toileting, ambulating, safety checks, housekeeping, equipment setting, meal delivery, routine vital signs and intake & output monitoring, and timely reporting of resident status changes.
Suggest and support department changes, adopt responsibility for assignments and view problems as challenges, demonstrate awareness of behavior on efficient functioning.
Apply, monitor and remove restraints per protocol, provide diversional activities, document in medical records, comply with safety policies, and respond promptly to emergent situations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of body mechanics and transfer techniques.
Effective oral and written communication.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances CPR required based on AHA standards: didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
