We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our Lourdes Breast Center at FMOL Health. This position offers a $15,000 sign‑on bonus. Job Description

The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical physiological, pathological, and anatomical data. The technologist produces ultrasound images to aid in diagnosis, monitors patient and staff safety, performs patient screening using established protocols, and follows departmental policy for safe equipment operation. The role provides complete pre‑ and post‑education to patients and families, evaluates competency levels of others as a preceptor, and reports to a Supervisor or Manager. Responsibilities

Exhibit working knowledge of all ultrasound equipment and procedures. Refer to physician's orders/chart for any special instructions. Routinely question the patient before procedures to obtain patient history. Explain procedures fully to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety. Perform all procedures efficiently and timely without compromising quality. Coordinate ultrasound schedule with other areas to reduce patient wait times. Correct and report accidents, incidents, and safety hazards. Use PPE when appropriate and be aware of potential chemical hazards and MSDS access. Apply good body mechanics when moving patients and adhere to infection control practices. Routinely clean equipment and probes and report problems to service. Ensure service performs monthly preventive maintenance on equipment. Complete exam data entry fields on all exams. Document all pertinent information (patient history, tech initials, etc.). Assist in other areas of the department as workload permits. Keep areas well stocked at all times. Consistently perform 12 organizational service standards focused on Values, Service, and Quality. Be available to work a rotating on‑call schedule to ensure 24‑hour coverage of the Ultrasound Department. Qualifications

Education : Graduate from an accredited school of sonography or completion of an ultrasound program. Licensure : American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDM) active and unrestricted certification OR CCI‑RCS, 1 Specialty, Basic Life Support (BLS) – HCP.
