Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Kingston, NY (Westchester Medical Center Health Network)

Job Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing a restorative healing experience for the patient and the patient’s support systems in transformational partnership with the Clinical Manager and the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Exercise autonomy, authority, and control to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Express professional accountability in five areas: practice, quality assurance, competence, research, and resource management.

Demonstrate sound clinical skills and positive communication with patients and teams.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Currently licensed in the State of New York (RN license required). Permittee status acceptable.

Minimum of one year RN experience in Med/Surg.

Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS/Stroke Certification required.

Must obtain ACLS, PALS/Stroke Cert within Orientation/Probationary Period.

Compensation:

$47,000-$115,000 (variable based on experience and location).
