Shifts Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm - Full-time - Shift Differential

Role We are seeking a dedicated
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse
to join our team! The LPN Charge Nurse plans, organizes, and assists in providing direct and indirect resident care following established policies and procedures, standards of nursing practice and principles of nursing care. Orients, instructs and supervises personnel.
Responsibilities Assess and implement interventions for resident care based on standards of nursing practice and principles of nursing care, in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements. Make daily rounds to see all residents to ascertain condition and comfort. Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection. Assist DON and/or RN with developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care to include, but not be limited to, recognition of spiritual, emotional, psychosocial, and functional factors. Encourage and assist with restorative care in self-care and group activities. Monitor nursing personnel compliance with nursing policies and procedures and competency of clinical skills, evaluating nursing staff job performance with direction from DON. Communicate with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow-through; maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs. Oversees direct care staff and ensures staff complete tasks and cares as assigned. Speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner. Ability to apply principles of basic general math.
