We are hiring Graduate Nurses to join our skilled nursing facility in Haverhill, The Oxford Rehab. Shift openings include 7a‑3p, 3p‑11p, and 11p‑7a with weekly pay. Hourly rate ranges from $38 to $40 for LPNs and $42 to $47 for RNs, depending on the shift. Up to a $5,000 sign‑on bonus once licensed.

Pay and Sign‑On Bonus

Base pay range $35.00/hr – $47.00/hr

Hourly rate for LPNs $38–$40/hr

Hourly rate for RNs $42–$47/hr

Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 once licensed

Education Must have graduated from a Massachusetts board‑approved nursing education program within one year of hire date. Can be for LPN or RN.

Documentation Required

Documentation from your nursing program showing your graduation date.

Proof of scheduled NCLEX licensure exam within 90 days of hire.

Training and Supervision Our team will provide supervision and training under a licensed nurse to ensure you are comfortable with providing care. Your assigned tasks will not exceed your level of academic preparation or outside the scope of your competency level.

Duties and Responsibilities

Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.

Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under your care.

Follow physicians’ orders and render or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders.

Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately.

Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness.

Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.

Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs.

Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list.

Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary.

Administer medication according to procedure.

Maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which you are responsible.

Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary.

Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description.

Comply with facility privacy practices policies and procedures and protect residents’ individual health information.

Other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing and other managerial team members.

Specific Requirements

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.

Must handle personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public tactfully.

Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long‑term care.

Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel.

Must plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care.

Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills.

Must be familiar with drug actions and interactions.

Must have knowledge of restorative nursing rehabilitation policies and use them appropriately.

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.

Must seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing nursing practices.

Must communicate effectively regarding emergencies to appropriate personnel.
