Description As a School-based Crisis Clinician you will provide integrated clinical and crisis services in the school to support district students, families and staff to improve social‑emotional and academic outcomes for enrolled students. You will provide services collaboratively using a strength, multi‑disciplinary, team‑based and trauma‑informed approach. You will report to the Senior Director, Behavioral Health and will work on‑site with some travel required.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical consultation, in collaboration with district staff, to enrolled students
Perform Mental Health Status Examinations and Assessments
Perform crisis intervention to address clinical concerns and support students and staff
Create safety plans in collaboration with district staff and enrolled students
Complete appropriate service referrals and linkage to community resources
Conduct community outreach to students, families and district staff post assessment
Communicate clinical recommendations to students, families and district staff to ensure clinical needs are addressed and to prevent further social‑emotional concerns
Collaborate and clinically consult with school district staff
Document interventions and assessments per agency and contract requirements
Perform other tasks as needed
Ability to travel as required
Requirements And Education
Requires a Master’s Degree, MSW or equivalent
1+ years of experience working in a school environment and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Must be licensed before starting: LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R
Valid driver’s license
