36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Shifts:
Every other or every third weekend (12-hour shifts)
Float Requirements:
Yes (IMU, Telemetry overflow)
Electronic Health Record:
Meditech EMR
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Proficient in EKG interpretation, critical thinking, and titration of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation)
Team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable
Ability to float to IMU and Telemetry units as needed
Compliance with hospital dress code (scrub color not assigned; artificial nails not permitted)
ICU RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in ICU and IMU settings
Monitor and manage adult patients with diagnoses including COPD, ARF, DKA, sepsis, and shock
Interpret EKGs and titrate critical drips per hospital protocols
Operate advanced medical equipment: cardiac monitors, bedside dialysis, Baxter IV pumps
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to IMU and Telemetry units as required
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Follow hospital policies and infection control standards
