3 shifts/week (36 hours guaranteed) Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/15/2026) Weekend Requirement:

Bi-weekly sessions Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state) Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Experience with MEDITECH electronic health records preferred Ability to float to Telemetry and Emergency Department (ED) as needed Must reside at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify for travel nurse jobs Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg unit Manage patient loads with ratios of 6:1 to 7:1 Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications using MEDITECH Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans Float to Telemetry and Emergency Department (ED) units as needed Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development Maintain a positive, family-oriented approach to patient care and teamwork Experience the charm of Wilson, NC—featuring vibrant arts, historic sites, and easy access to urban amenities and outdoor recreation.
