Shift Differentials:
$2/hr shift differential (Monday-Thursday Nights)
$3/hr shift differential (Friday-Sunday Nights)
$2/hr shift differential (Saturday-Sunday Days)

What You'll Do The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) manages and maintains the safety of the individuals and staff. They take vitals, assist individuals in meeting their needs, and document services in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Conduct security screening and inventory property of individuals upon admission.
Provide orientation to the Observation Unit and Short‑term Inpatient Unit and educate patients on their rights and the grievance process.
Intervene with escalated individuals using therapeutic techniques for de‑escalation and perform restraints/seclusions when needed to ensure safety.
Lift, move, and transport individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
Assist individuals with activities of daily living including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
Conduct and document vitals, BAL, urine drug screens, and urine pregnancy tests; report questionable results to the RN/Physician.
Attend court‑ordered hearings when subpoenaed and be available to provide testimony.
Document all services and interactions in the EHR; monitor patients Q15.
Maintain cleanliness of the facility and designated unit; perform light cleaning, collect soiled linens, and launder clothing when needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in behavioral health, social services, or a related field.
Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.
All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or be exempt per the company’s exemption process prior to start date.
It would be great if you had
Certified training (Safe Clinch, CPR, First Aid, therapeutic options, etc.).
Completion of CNA or Patient Care Technician program.
Two (2) years of experience in behavioral health.
Completion of BHT certification.
