Registered Nurse Supervisor (Full or Part-Time)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time. Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00pm–11:00pm (overnight openings considered). Location: Guilderland, NY (25 minutes from Albany). Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour (negotiable) with a $7,500 sign‑on bonus. The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing in Guilderland is part of The Grand Healthcare System and provides long‑term care and rehabilitation services across New York State.
Position Summary The RN Supervisor oversees nursing operations during evening shifts, ensuring safe, high‑quality care for all residents. Responsibilities include staff management, clinical guidance, and coordination of care. Overnight shift openings are considered for interested candidates.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervise and guide nursing staff during evening shifts.
Ensure residents receive timely, professional care.
Oversee medication administration and documentation.
Schedule and assign nursing duties.
Mentor and support CNAs and other staff.
Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and families.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Enforce infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
Ensure accurate documentation of resident care.
Serve as a point of contact for staff and families.
Participate in shift reports and care planning meetings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care.
Qualifications
Current NYS RN License (BSN preferred but not required).
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long‑term care or medical/surgical settings.
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
