Gross Wages $1,490.40
Traveler Lodging $924.00
Travel M&I $560.00
Total Travel Stipend $1,484.00
Total Travel Pkg $2,974.40
Blended Rate $82.62
Duties
Perform CT scans according to physician orders.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Operate CT scanners and related equipment safely.
Review and verify patient identification and exam details.
Follow radiation safety standards and dose-reduction protocols.
Assist with IV contrast administration and monitor patients for reactions.
Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures.
Ensure image quality and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Document exams and patient information in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Maintain clean, organized, and stocked imaging rooms.
Follow all hospital policies, safety rules, and infection-control practices.
Provide compassionate, professional care to patients of all ages.
Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as scheduled.
Qualifications
Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a CT Tech.
A valid and current license issued by the state of NY.
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
