Preferred Qualifications Our pharmacists provide customer‑focused pharmaceutical care, ensuring prompt and accurate dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions. They collaborate with health‑care providers to assess and monitor medication use and counsel patients for optimal drug therapy.

Role Purpose Provide customer‑focused pharmaceutical care and ensure the prompt and accurate dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions according to prescription orders. Direct and assist in the procurement, storage, distribution and disposal of medications. Collaborate with health‑care providers to assess, monitor, initiate and modify medication use according to patient condition and age‑specific criteria. Prevent, direct and resolve medication‑related issues. Counsel and educate to promote optimal drug therapy. Supervise and direct supportive staff.

Responsibilities

Verify prescribed medications and dosages to ensure therapy is safe and effective for the patient's condition. Review patient profiles for clinically significant side effects, drug allergies, and drug interactions. Process and label prescriptions with accurate data and directions for patient use.

Provide consultation to patients regarding side effects, drug interactions, storage requirements and directions for use.

Maintain proficiency in operating pharmacy workflow management systems for point of sale, prescription order entry, patient profile review or retrieval of clinical data. Preserve proper records relating to medication profiles, prescription files, controlled substances records, and other legal and departmental record and procedures.

Accept new prescription orders and collaborate with other health‑care providers to manage patient's drug therapy for effectiveness.

Assist in all daily operations in a manner that facilitates the achievement of a high level of customer satisfaction and experience.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

No supervisory experience required

Medication Therapy Services in MO, RPh license
