Position Overview
The Department of Psychology invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for the fall 2025 semester. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach psychology courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching face‑to‑face and/or online courses, attending training and/or review sessions, providing academic advising to students, supporting student organizations, and participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

Teach face‑to‑face and/or online psychology courses (introductory and advanced).
Attend training and review sessions.
Provide academic advising to students.
Support student organizations.
Participate in program development and assessment.
Collaborate with faculty and staff.
Minimum Requirements Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Psychology at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications Candidates with 1–3 years of teaching experience at the university or community college level are preferred.
Work Arrangement This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
