A High School diploma or GED
Ability to work a flexible schedule

Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while protecting donor confidentiality.
Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
Monitor donor and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
Set up, disconnect from, and operate the automated plasmapheresis machines.
Disconnect and dispose of all contaminated disposable equipment.
Occupational Demands: Work is performed in a plasma center.
Exposure to biological fluids, electrical equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F while working in a plasma freezer.
Personal protective equipment is required.
Work is performed standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, with frequent hand, foot, and wrist movements.
Light lifting up to 15 lbs, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
Hearing acuity and color vision requirements are essential.
