Blueview Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center providing high‑quality care through partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient (OP) programs.
Base pay range $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
About Us We are seeking a
Licensed Therapist / Counselor
to provide group therapy for clients recovering from substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
Job Summary The
Licensed Therapist / Counselor
will facilitate group therapy sessions, develop treatment plans, and support client progress in our PHP, IOP, and OP programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, and the ability to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate structured and process‑oriented group therapy sessions focused on recovery, coping skills, relapse prevention, and mental health.
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Monitor client progress and participate in case reviews and treatment team meetings.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and professional licensing standards.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in addiction treatment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.
Experience in substance use disorder treatment in an outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, OP).
Strong group counseling skills.
Ability to engage and motivate clients in their recovery journey.
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
