The Opportunity ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high‑quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment. Your Impact

Patient Care & Triage:

Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.

Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.

Clinical Procedures:

Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.

Execute point‑of‑care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.

Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.

Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.

Patient Engagement & Documentation:

Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.

Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.

Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions, taking necessary action as needed.

Clinic Operations:

Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.

Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.

Collaboration with Clinical Team:

Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.

Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.

Welcome and support the training of new team clinic team members.

Required Availability

Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive and/or non‑consecutive days:

Full‑time: 3 shifts a week with at least 4 shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.

Part‑time: 2 shifts per week with at least 2 shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.

Per diem: 4 shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Must be able to work at a minimum of three other ConvenientMD locations within a one‑hour travel distance from your primary clinic.

Required to travel for training shifts outside your primary clinic within a one‑hour commute.

Who You Are

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Certification and demonstrated prior experience:

State‑licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:

American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online‑only classes.

Technically savvy:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn Experity as well as other business systems.

Bonus Qualifications

1‑2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred.

Massachusetts Pay Transparency

In order to maintain equity among team members, ConvenientMD has established defined hourly pay ranges for each role. Individual pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, years of relevant experience, current market conditions, and budget considerations. The pay range listed reflects the potential compensation for this role within this region. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process. Hourly Pay Range for this Position

$29.43 – $43.78 USD
