Job Summary and Qualifications As a Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll provide hands‑on, compassionate care to patients on their path to mental wellness. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health, creating a safe, healing environment where patients feel empowered and hopeful as they move toward recovery.
Responsibilities
Administer medications, monitor patient status, assist with ADLs, and support therapeutic activities that promote mental well‑being.
Document care, behaviors and progress clearly and promptly to ensure patient safety and team collaboration.
Observe and share changes in patients’ mental and physical condition with the care team to guide treatment.
Offer support and education to help patients build coping skills, stay engaged in treatment and practice self‑care.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide smooth, high‑quality care that supports healing and well‑being.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
High School Graduate or GED.
