Job Summary And Qualifications As a Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll provide hands-on, compassionate care to patients on their path to mental wellness. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to mental health. Together, you’ll create a safe, healing environment where patients feel empowered and hopeful as they move toward recovery.
Responsibilities
Administering medications, monitoring patient status, assisting with ADLs, and supporting therapeutic activities that promote mental well-being
Documenting care, behaviors, and progress clearly and promptly to ensure patient safety and team collaboration
Observing and sharing changes in patients’ mental and physical condition to the care team to help guide treatment
Offering support and education to help patients build coping skills, stay engaged in treatment, and practice self-care
Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide smooth, high-quality care that supports healing and well-being
Qualifications
(LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
Vocational School Graduate
