Registered Nurse – Stepdown Cardiac, Night Shift (12x4) – 13 weeks, 48 scheduled hours per week, start 01/05/2026, end 04/06/2026.
Qualifications
Valid RN license
1.5 years experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
Valid BLS and NIH certifications; ACLS preferred
EPIC experience required
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
Experience managing IV drips (heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin)
Competency in patient care for heart failure, chest pain, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation
Will pass online EKG tele competency assessment before assignment
Responsibilities
Provide patient care in a 1:5–6 nursing ratio in Stepdown Cardiac unit
Manage IV drips and monitor patient medication/therapeutics
Interpret EKG strips and evaluate changes in cardiac status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and coordinate patient discharge plans
Complete required assessments and documentation within specified time frames
Float to other areas within specified proximity as needed
Work Hours & Schedule Night shift – 12x4 – 07:00 PM
Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.
Travel & RTO Travelers will float at the discretion of the facility; must be prepared to complete assessments on time.
RTO requests must accompany application; no RTO or scheduling requests will be accepted after the offer.
