Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)
Employer: miCare Health Center (part of Imagine360’s Yakima, WA team). The position delivers office‑based primary care for patients of all ages, focusing on chronic disease management with an emphasis on wellness and acute episodic care.
Position Location 103 S. 3rd Street, Yakima, WA 98901
Responsibilities
Utilizes knowledge and skills to care for patients under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures and standards, including:
Physical examinations
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients’ clinical problems and health‑care needs
Records findings and formulates plan and prognosis
Prescribes necessary prescriptions and other forms of treatment
Refers appropriately to other fields of specialization
Performs effective communication with the miCare team and patients to ensure coordination of care
Customer Service: Acts as a role‑model in demonstrating core values in customer service delivery; provides timely and thorough follow‑up with internal and external customers; escalates difficult issues appropriately; offers feedback and assistance in improving customer satisfaction; recognizes trends and alerts supervisors; performs self‑quality monitoring; collaborates cross‑departmentally; provides feedback and develops or improves processes; trains new employees as assigned.
Required Experience / Education
Degree from an accredited school
Current unencumbered license to practice in Washington
3+ years of clinical experience
Current BLS certification
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Medical terminology proficiency
Working knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Office
Proficient typing skills
Demonstrated organizational, problem‑solving, analytical, detail‑oriented skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask, and manage deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
Work inside an office environment with moderate noise; intermittent physical effort (lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, etc.); exposure to viruses/infections; frequent keyboard use and reaching; normal vision and hearing required.
Salary $60 - $75 per hour (per diem)
