Position Details
Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident
Department: Cardiac Pavilion (Cardiac Med Intermediate)
Status: Full‑Time – 36 hours/week
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO

Qualifications
Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Must be personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Other unit‑specific certifications as required.
Physical requirements/demands:
Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
