Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care that impacts patients' well‑being and recovery. You will analyze patient problems, perform skilled procedures, implement and modify plans of care, coordinate interdisciplinary care, uphold ethical standards, and administer medications and IV therapy in compliance with policies.
Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decisioning to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence‑based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning; facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.
Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired patient outcomes.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire.
Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 days.

Saint Joseph East includes the Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East dedicated to supporting the well‑being of women and serves a 16‑bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
