Pay: $20.50/hr (additional $1/hr differential for active MAP certification).
Overview As a Direct Support Professional II, you’ll play an integral part in assisting individuals with daily living, promoting community connections, and supporting them in achieving their personal goals. You will also take on leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising other direct support staff, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Direct Support Professionals receive a paid New Employee Orientation and training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP). Program‑specific training is also provided onsite.

Responsibilities
Support individuals in making independent decisions and participating in valued community roles.
Teach and assist with daily living skills, personal care, and household tasks.
Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and accurately document progress.
Administer medications or support individuals in self‑medication (MAP certification required).
Advocate for individuals and actively support the achievement of their personal goals.
Foster relationships with families, guardians, and community members.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the residence.
Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community events using a van or wheelchair‑accessible van.
Actively participate in and support individuals at community events.
Qualifications
18+ years old.
High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
1‑3 years of related experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record.
CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Compassionate and patient approach to care.
Commitment to fostering inclusion and independence.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance), and remain alert during shifts.
