This position offers a competitive base pay of $21.50/hr to $24.00/hr. Compensation is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with benefit eligibility from the date of hire.

Location & Travel Lawrence, MA with travel within the Merrimack Valley region for community events and meetings.

Schedule Core business hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required to meet family needs, including one evening per week and occasional Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

Provide essential information and referrals to families seeking support at the Family Support Center.

Facilitate support groups, trainings, and social and recreational events.

Partner with families to develop comprehensive Family Support Plans, identifying social, educational, and recreational opportunities, and coordinating referrals and resources for community inclusion.

Assist families with planning and utilizing flexible funding under DDS guidelines and Waystone policies, including preparation and approval of required documentation.

Lead recreational, training, and support group opportunities offered by the Family Support Center.

Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date individual records in the database.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

OR Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Services, case management, or social work.

Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Extensive knowledge of local community services and resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.

Passion for working with diverse families, especially those facing social and economic challenges such as substance use disorder or housing instability.

Strong written and verbal communication skills focused on positive outcomes.

Proficiency with computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and virtual platforms.
