Provide direct mentorship, coaching, and support to novice nurses during the night shift. Promote professional development, confidence, and critical thinking skills in new nurses by assisting with complex clinical situations, multitasking, prioritization, and problem‑solving within the unit. Deliver exceptional, high‑quality patient care through your own assignment while role‑modeling excellence in clinical practice and professionalism. Foster a supportive, engaging, and collaborative environment to enhance team performance and nurse satisfaction. Demonstrate commitment to quality care, patient safety, and continuous improvement. Uphold nursing professionalism while aligning with South County Health’s mission and values. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care nursing required. Prior charge nurse and preceptor experience required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Self‑motivated, engaging, supportive, and committed to excellence in nursing practice. Seniority Level
